Katarina Fitz
Ms. Katarina Fitz joined Little Sparrows as a Head Teacher in 2020. Katarina last taught as a Head Teacher for the 2’s at CitiBabes School in SoHo. Prior to that, Katarina spent six years as an Assistant Teacher at Dwight School in Manhattan teaching 2’s, 3’s, and Pre-K classes. While at Dwight, Katarina extensively trained in the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy/methods based on the IB Primary Years Program (PYP). Katarina graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brooklyn College earning a B.A. in Early Childhood and Children & Youth Studies.
Katarina provides a loving and nurturing environment complete with ample opportunities for children to grow and participate in hands-on learning activities, in order to help each child discover and learn.
Katarina lives in Armonk with her husband and two daughters where she loves spending time with her family, as well as: skiing, dancing, and gardening.
